Wool based felts have higher density and are generally utilized in industrial applications such as gaskets for rotating axels as well as for certain filtering jobs.

They are utilized in a variety of industries such as machinery manufacturing, ship-building and aeronautical industries. They can also be used for polishing operations or as vibration dampeners.

Felts made out of polyester fibres are utilized to address certain sound insulation problems where vegetable fibre or wood base felts are not suitable.

Fabrication through die-cutting technology allows the manufacture of parts ready to use.

Polyester fibre felts can also be used for thermal insulation applications.
